Freeword church has been making meaningful impact annually in the lives of individuals and families. In Amụcha ebe ise, Njaba Local Government Area, in the eastern part of Nigeria, we are committed to annual giving and continue to help hundreds of families annually. Globally we are making an impact and believe access to basic necessities like food, water, clothing, and shelter is fundamental to sustaining life and fostering a life of freedom.

Our Statement Of Faith
HOLY BIBLE We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, without any error, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. (II Tim. 3:15-17, I Peter 1:23-25)
THREE IN ONE, TRIUNE GOD We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19, I John 5:7)
JESUS CHRIST We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is fully God and fully man. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with authority. Jesus willingly offered Himself as a sacrificial atonement for our sins through His death on the cross. On the third day, He triumphantly rose from the dead, demonstrating victory over sin and death. Jesus ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, interceding on behalf of believers. He is now our High Priest and Advocate. (Isa. 7:14; Rom. 8:34, Acts 1:10-11)
SALVATION We affirm that salvation is found exclusively through faith in Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We eagerly anticipate His return to establish His kingdom and judge the living and the dead.
BAPTISM We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for man's salvation. Baptism in water is a declaration to the world that a believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of life. (Matt. 28:19)
HOLY SPIRIT We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by Christ to the Church, with subsequent empowerment for life and service in the ministry of Christ. This baptism is evidenced in the Holy Spirit’s expression in a supernatural language of worship and prayer, and in spiritual power to maintain a victorious Christian life and witness.
RETURN OF CHRIST We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His second coming inspires believers to dynamic and zealous life and service for Him while waiting for His return.
